Солодча 2016г. Lesson plan Aim: to provide practice in making up dialogues and speaking on the topic “Peer pressure”. Objective: by the end of the lesson the students will be better able to make up dialogues and speakabout peer pressure, using technique of critical thinking Equipment: video from the Internet, presentation, cards, tape, screen, schemes I. Организационный момент (звучит музыка из диска) T: - Dear friends, I want to introduce you my colleagues. Theyare very intelligent, friendly and kind. I hope you will like them. II. Основная часть урока (slide with the aim and objective) 1. The teacher declares the aim and objective of the lesson 2. (slide with the picture) T: - Friends, look at the screen. You will work individually. You should describe the picture. What is happening? How does the person feel? Why? (method “Brain storming”. Дети называют быстро всё, что они думают) (individually work) 3.(video 1) T: - Friends, you will work in pairs. Look at the screen and watch the video. Then answer the question. What is peer pressure? Use the method “Mind-map” or “Cluster method” (включаю музыку) (pair work) 4. (slide) Change pairs, please. T: - Now, you should act out the situations. You will get cards. 1.You found out that your best friend is lying to you and you are angry. 2.Your friends are trying to make you miss lessons from school but you don’t want to3.You didn’t do well in your exams and you have problems with your friends (cards, music) ( pair work) 5.(slide) T: - My friends, what do you think about Childline? Where is it located? Who does it help? Work individually or in pairs and make up синквейн 6. T: - Friends, you will work in groups. You should tell about a helpline or other charity that helps children and teens in our country. Use “Cluster” or “Mind-map” method. (slide)7. “To have a good friend you need to be a good friend” Do you agree? (slide) 8. (video 2) T: - Friends, let’s watch the video and answer the question. Is it cool? Why? Why not? 9. Now let’s sing along (tape) III. Заключительная часть урока T: - Friends, you worked hard during the lesson. Did you like it? Thank you for your job. You are clever students. Are youtired?
