The aim: summarize and revise the material about London
The tasks:
Educational: to review the facts and knowledge about London ‘s sightseeing, to practice the speech, listening comprehension; to enrich pupils’ vocabulary

Procedure of the lesson

Greeting. I want to divide you into three groups. Firstly make a circle, I want you wish to each other good words.

-Look at the board; here you can see the puzzle. Collect the pieces and guess the topic we will talk about. We’ll talk about London. Who is the head of the UK? What can you say about weather in London? What’s the best way to travel in London?
Look at the slide. Read and translate the motto.

9. Listening.
The first group is listening to the audio recording twice. Then I’ll give you the cards with the sentences from this text. You have to put the sentences in the right order.
Turn over the cards. If you do the task correctly, we can read the name of the Queen’s favorite sightseeing.(Windsor castle). Look at the presentation.
The second group will read the text and answer the questions:
1. How many people do come to London every year?
2. Where do they go to see in London?
3. Where do people go to look at the shops?
4. How many visitors do go to the Tower of London?
10. We know the favorite sightseeing of Elizabeth II. But what about you?
