План­ конспект урока  Класс: 7            Тема урока: «Олимпийские игры» Цель. Обобщение изученной лексики по теме; контроль перевода и уровня понимания тематических текстов; организация практического использования материала в устной речи. Задачи: тренировать учащихся в говорении, аудировании, чтении. Оборудование: компьютер и интерактивная доска, раздаточный материал с  заданиями на чтение и аудирование. ХОД УРОКА 1. Организационный момент. T: Good afternoon, dear friends! Glad to meet you! How are you? Cl: Good afternoon! Glad to meet you too! T: Today we will speak about the Olympic Games.  2. Разминка. – Do you do sport?­Занимаешься ли ты спортом? – What’s your favorite kind of sport? ­ Твой любимый вид спорта? – Have you ever watched the Olympic Games? ­ Смотрел ли ты Олимпийские  игры? 3. Развитие навыков аудирования.                                                  COMPREHENSION.                 The revival of the Olympics began in 1892, when a young French teacher ( Baron )  Pierre de Coubertin made a public speech before the Union of French sports clubs in Paris.                  The first Olympics of modern times were held in 1896 in Athens, Greece.                      Winter sports made their Olympics debut in 1908, when ice figure­ skating was  included in Olympic programme.                   The Olympic motto is “Citius, Altius, Fortius”,­­ “Faster, Higher, Stronger”.                    The Olympic symbol is 5 interlocking circles colored blue, yellow, black, green and  red  on a white background. It is represented the five continent.                    The Olympics are held every fourth year in different countries.                    The Olympic idea means friendship, fraternity  and cooperation among the people of  the world.                                                T: Let's revise some facts about the Olympic symbols. T: Look at the motto and the flag of the Olympic Games. The motto is written in  Latin: Citius, Altius, Fortius. That's in Russian means: Быстрее, выше, сильнее.  Can you translate the motto into English? P1: Faster, higher, stronger. T: Well done. Now pay your attention to the Olympic flag. It has five rings of  different colors. Each color means one continent. Let’s name the continents. P1: Blue ring is for Europe. P2: Black ring is for Africa. P3: Yellow ring is for Asia. P4: Red ring is for America. P5: Green ring is for Australia. T: OK! It is true! Come on. Many people all over the world are interested in sports.             Sport helps people to stay in good shape, keeps them  fit, healthy  and makes them more organized and better disciplined in their daily  activities.             During the Olympic Games there are competitions in many kinds of sport.  They are , for example, basketball, football, swimming, athletics, figure­ skating,  snowboarding, tobogganing, skiing, biathlon and many others.               Winter Olympic Games first took place in 1924. At the Winter Olympic  Games many countries take part in competitions in skiing, skating, ice­ hockey,  tobogganing and other winter sports.              The 20th Winter Olympic Games were held in Torino, Italy. They lasted 17 days. There  were 70  national teams.  Our team also took part in the Olympics.               The symbol of our team was the toy animal called Cheburashka. All  people like it.                The last Winter Olympic Games took place in Vancouver, Canada. It was in 2010. The next will be the Summer Olympic Games in Great Britain in 2012.                 The Olympics are very popular in the world. It is the festival of sport and friendship.                     5.        Развитие навыков говорения.                       QUESTIONS TO THE TEXT. 1.
