T: What can you see in the pictures? Р: Т: Could you say in what country are these schools ? Р: Т: What are the pupils doing? Р: Т: Then what will be the topic of our lesson today? Р: Т: Good! ІІІ. Working with the new words ( Individual work) (Reading the text) “Insert” Т: Children, sign the familiar words in the text with +, unknown words with -, if it is familiar but you don’t know the translation sign with ? and sign the words which interesting for you with ! Then discuss with your group
(Group work) Pupils are given the cards with the new words on them. They should match them with translations. The key answers will be written on the board. Repeat the new words ІҮ. Consolidation (Some questions are hidden on the back of the pupils’ chair.) Т: Children, look at the back of your chairs. Our English friend left letters to the best pupils. Let’s take the letters and read them. Р1-What time does a school day start ? P2-What do the class teacher check? P3- What does the headmaster do? P4- Where do pupils have their? P5-What time do lesson finish? P6-Do they study at weekends? P7- Where do pupils have their lunch? T: Well done!
