Тема урока "FAMILY MEMBERS "
Ход урока:
1 часть.
Teacher:
Good morning, my dear friends. It’s a nice day, isn’t it?
Teacher asks the next questions:
Teacher: How is your mother, P1?
Do you help her every day?
- How is your father, P2?
Does your father help you to do homework?
- Have you got a brother, P3? What’s your brother’s name? How is he?
-What’s your idea about our theme?
P: I think our theme is A Family.
Teacher: That’ right, more over we’ll answer the question: What is a Family ?
What are we going to speak about?
P: I think we are going to speak about our families and our relationships, our brothers and sisters.
Teacher: We’ll also discuss children’s and parents responsibilities, learn some word combinations and, at last, we’ll practice using Comparative and Superlative Degrees of Adjectives, Possessive Case and Modal verbs.

Teacher: Well, now it’s time to make our team using your CLOCK BUDDIES. We’ll use TIC-TAC-TOE ( учитель и ученики готовят карточки с 1 словом на каждом листочке по теме «Члены семьи» затем перемешивают и раскладывают 9 листочков в формате 3×3. Каждый член команды составляет 3 предложения ,используя любые три слова на одной линии.

P: I have got a mother and a father, they are the best friends.
Teacher: Perfect. Let’s practice using Possessive Case. You should read these phrases and guess who are they?

(Keys: grandparents, twins, mother-in-the-law, nephew, niece, stepdaughter)
Teacher: That’s fine. Look at these photos, compare them. Are they different?
P: The Ivanovs family is a big family. They have got 4 children.
P: The Petrovs family is a small family. They have got only one child.
Teacher: are these families happy?
P: I think they are very happy and friendly.
Teacher: What is better a small family or a big family? Let’s try to answer the question using the next words:

Teacher: Will you, P, name the positive/negative aspects about being alone in the family?
Teacher: P, I name the positive/negative aspects about having a sister or a brother?
P: I consider never learn to be independent is negative aspects about being alone in the family. Have my own room is positive aspect.
P: I think get on well, to give useful advice are positive aspects, Have arguments and fights, don’t get on well are negative aspects about having a sister or a brother.
Teacher: I want you to discuss our question, using Timed- Pair-Share. It means everybody will have time to express your point of views.
Student A: find out the positive or negative information about different types of families
Student B: try to give any reason about small or a big family.(Ps make up their own dialogues)
Karina: Is it good to be alone/ to have a brother or a sister? Why?
Ileana-I prefer to be alone. In my experience, a small family is better, because I have my own room.
Teacher: Fine! It’ time to meet you Kate’s family. Read her story and choose the right word.
(Elder, younger, the eldest, the youngest?):
My name is Kate. I am … in the family. Ann is …than I, but she is … than Dasha. My sister Dasha is …in our family. We love our mother and spend together our summer holidays.
-well, who is ready?
Pn: My name is Kate. I am the youngest in the family. Ann is older than I, but she is younger than Dasha. My sister Dasha is the oldest in our family. We love our mother and spend together our summer holidays.
Teacher: Amir, is it right? Is Dasha the oldest? Is Ann the youngest? Who is the youngest?
Teacher: Almaz, does Kate love her family? Do they like to spend their free time together?
Teacher: And what about you? Let’s discus this questions using Inside-Outside Circle (Учащиеся и учитель формируют круги внутренний и внешний и делятся своими мнениями) Do you spend your free time together with your family?
Have you got any family traditions? What is your favorite tradition in your family?
Grammar.
Teacher: Thank you and sit down. As we see relations in the family are very important. And so parents and children have their own responsibilities at home. What responsibilities have you got at home? Answer the question using these phrases and Modal verbs, please.
To clean the house
To do the cooking/ the dusting/ the ironing/ the shopping/the washing

Teacher: ok, let’s read the children’s opinions about their parents’ responsibilities. You can use your text book, ex.19, p.128.

Parents must help their children with problems they have at school.
Teacher:which of them the most important for you?
Teacher:my dear students, I’d like to give you presents «family rules” let’s read them and try to remember:
