I. Warmer Greetings Lead-in Learners try to guess the topic of the lesson: Teacher shows the pictures of objects for party and elicits the theme of the lesson from students Practice and Drilling Learners listen and repeat the names of the presents A cake, a balloons, a candles,cards presents,party that Teacher shows (W) a) A (Students need to pronounce the words correctly b) prep. ‘by’ E.g.: I have a cake
Speaking 1) Tearcher puts the pictures of a cake, a balloons, a candles,cards presents,party on the board and asks each learner to write the first letter of their names and stick on them use. Teacher then asks: 2) Does Kira has a cake? Do M and S take balloons? and so on. (Alternative: T asks volunteers to come up to the board and count the names of people who use bus or bike etc.) 3) Teacher puts the pictures everywhere in the class (on the windowsill, under the table, behind the door) and learners try to find them and name them
Listening 1) Teacher plays sounds and learners say Who is and How old (W) Learners answer I am a boy. I am Sasha. I am 6. Iam a girl. I am Sveta. I am 6. Teacher drills: That’s right.thank you.
2.Students do the actions according to the teacher’s instructions (put the objects on OR colour the presents ): Put the cake on the card. Put the candle in the car. Write number 6. Colour the balloon red.
