Конспект урока английского языка

для 11 класса к УМК «Enjoy English»

по теме «Работа вашей мечты»

Тип урока: урок обобщения материала по теме «Профессия твоей мечты»

Цели:

1.     Обучающие:

Совершенствование навыков устной речи

Формирование навыков речевого этикета при работе с диалогом

2.     Развивающие:

Развитие способности мышления и языковой догадки

Развитие способности поиска нужной информации при  работе с новыми лексическими единицами

Развитие навыков диалогической и монологической речи

3.     Воспитательные:

Формирование речевых, интеллектуальных и познавательных способностей учащихся

                     Воспитание чувства ответственности при выборе будущей профессии

                     Воспитание чувства сотрудничества и поддержки при работе в группах

 

Используемые технологии: коммуникативные, проблемного диалога.

 

 Задачи урока:

 

1. Формировать потребность в практическом использовании английского языка;

2. Уяснить мотивы выбора профессии, формирование стремления получить профессию,   

     необходимую обществу;

3.Развивать : -умение оперировать в процессе общения активной лексикой в  

    соответствии с коммуникативной задачей;

    - умение воспринимать информацию на слух  с опорой на видео и понимать   

      содержание текста, построенного на изученном материале;

    - формирование употребления в речи основных норм речевого этикета, принятых в

      стране изучаемого языка.

 

Лексический материал по теме “Professions

 

Формы работы: фронтальная, индивидуальная, групповая, в парах.

 

Технологии: информационные.

 

Оборудование урока:  проектор, презентация.

 

 

 

Ход  урока

1.      Организационный момент 

 

- T. :  Good  morning, my dears!

- Cl.:  Good  morning, teacher!

- T.:  How are you?

- Cl.: Fine, thanks.  And you?

- T.:  Fine too, thank you. I am glad to see you.

- Cl.: We are glad to see you too.

- T.:  Thank you. Sit down.  Let us begin our lesson.

I think we have an interesting and important theme of the lesson today because you are the eleventh graders, you are going to have your final exams soon and of course you think about your future education.

 

2.      Речевая зарядка    

 

- T.:  There are a lot of different professions and jobs in the world and you must choose one of them. It`s very important to make the right choice. Why?

P1:  It`s very important because our future depends on our choice.

P2:  I think it is extremely important because it will determine our future life.

P3:  It is very important not only for us, but for our parents, families as well.

 T.:  You are absolutely right. I see you are quite grown up  because you think like adults. There are no bad jobs, there are professions not suitable for this or that person. You know your character and abilities, I hope.

T.:  - What is the difference between  the job and  the profession?

job — work that you do regularly to earn money

profession — a job that you need special skills and qualifications to do

 

3.     Содержательная актуализация

 

T.:  -  What happens after school? What kind of educational  institution would you prefer to attend?  All these questions  you ask yourself  again and again . And now we’ll try to know what you want. Think about your education after school and your future  profession.

1.  What kind of job would you like to have?

2. What would your friends and family think about your choice?

3. What's more important to you — earning lots of money or having a job you enjoy?

4. What do you consider a good job for you? Why?

5. What do you expect from your future job?

6. What do you need to do to get a good job?

7. Which personal qualities  and professional characteristics are more important for a successful career? Look at the screen.

4.     Развитие навыков диалогической речи

 

-  Have you ever done any psychological [saɪkəˈlɔʤɪkəl] vocational tests? What did they reveal?

T.:  I suggest you to play a role game. You will do it in pairs. One of you will be a school – leaver, the other one will be either a parent or a psychologist (psychologists also can help you, by the way). So, your task is to make up short dialogues.

Examples:

Pair1:

 - Good morning. I need your advice.

-  How can I help you?

-  I am a school-leaver and I want to be a manager. Could you tell me if it is the right job for me.

-  If you are responsible, organized, persistent, able to arrange work, this job is for you.

-  Thank you.

Pair2:

-  Hello.

-  Hello. Can I help you?

-  Yes. You see I want to be an engineer and I`d like to know if I can.

-  Of course, you can if you are well-educated, computer-literate, creative, responsible, able to make decisions.

-  Thank you. I`ll  make  a note of it.

Pair3:

- Good morning.

- Good morning. What can I do for you?

- This year I am leaving school, but I haven`t decided what to be yet. Can you advise me anything?

- I hope so. You must do some tests….Oh, you are creative, well-organized, able to cope with stress. You love children. You are kind and sympathetic. You could be a good teacher, nurse or doctor.

- Thank you very much.

  Pair4:

- Hello.

- Hello.

- I need your advice.

- I`ll help you with pleasure. What`s the problem?

 -You see, I am going to become a psychologist in future. What is necessary for it?

-First of all, you must study psychology of people, be convincing, have a sense of humour, respect your patients, be able to understand them and have a wish to help them.

-Thank you. I`ll take it into consideration.

 

5. Развитие навыков монологической  речи

 

T.:  Well done. Thank you. And now I`d like to invite here some of you who have decided what to be. They will share their choice with us.

 

6. Релаксация

 

-Think of your plans and goals for the next ten years. Write your ideas on the lifeline.

 

  7. Подведение итогов урока. Выставление оценок

 

      Our lesson is over. Thanks for your good work! I believe this lesson was useful and interesting for you, and I believe you are sure to make a right choice of your future profession.
