Organisation moment. Greeting : Good
morning,good morning,good morning to
you,good morning good morning I am glad to
see you. Warming up : “Telephone game”
teacher whispers some words
(erupt,destroy,crater) the first learner in a
line,learners must then repet this word to the
next lerner in line and on down the line.The last
learner in line will either agree or disagree with
these word.Teacher ask : How do you think what
are we going to speak about? Learners tell the
theme of the lesson “Volcanoes”
(W) Teacher shows short video at interactive
board then asks : What do you know about
volcanoes.Learners in groups of 34 make
poster(mind map) according to the video, then
take turn to answer teachers question.

(P) Teacher gives learners text about
volcanoes.Learners in pairs read this
text.Teacher hand out text cut up into seprate
sentence.Learners in pairs reorder to make
explanаtion.Reread to check then compare with
another pair.
(W) Learners watch as teacher demonstrate and
explain how a volcano erupts.Before each step
teacher ask “What do you think happens?”
Make a simple volcano base with vent and add
ingredients to create the effect of lava erupting
from the crater. Learners write what happened.

goes up the vent of a
volcano. It goes up to the
crater at the top. It comes out over the top of the
volcano. After that, some
magma turns into hot ash
and falls. But some magma
turns into hot lava and runs
down the side of the
volcano. The lava is cold
now and turns into rock.
