Урок посвящен теме "Конфликты" и рассматривает разные виды конфликтов: семейные, школьные, политические, между друзьями. Учащиеся дают определение конфликта, приводят примеры и пытаются найти пути решения конфликтов и преимущественно мирным путем. На уроке развиваются все виды речевой деятельности, приводя ребят к самостоятельным выводам.

Цели урока:
Обобщить знания учащихся о памятниках природы и
культуры мира и России средствами английского языка.
Развивать познавательный интерес к окружающей жизни,
умение сопоставлять и выделять главное.
Вовлекать учащихся в речемыслительные процессы,
развивать познавательную самостоятельность.
Воспитывать интерес к предмету, природным и историческим
памятникам.

1.Организационный блок. Постановка цели и задач
деятельности учащихся:
«Good morning, boys and girls. Good morning, dear colleagues!
On my way to school today I found some leaflets. They are very
close to the subject of our lesson. Read them and say what we
should do if we want to be friends of the Earth. P1, P2, P3, P4…
Will you try to formulate the topic of today’s lesson?
You are right, the topic of today’s lesson is “What can we do to
save the world?”
The planet we live on is full of wonders. Unfortunately, some of
them haven’t been preserved and only ruins have been left.
Today we’ll try to remember the world wonders of nature and
history and understand their value. Besides, we’ll discuss how to
protect them. And I think, that in the end of the lesson you will be
able to explain the words said by Aesop “Gratitude is the sign of
souls” (Благодарность – знак благородства душ). This topic is
closely connected with Geography. So the floor is given to
Geography teacher.
Уч. геогр..: Еще с древних времен человечество
восхищалось некоторыми природными и созданными руками
человека объектами. Давайте вспомним некоторые из них.
Уч.1 Ниагарский водопад включен в Список объектов
Всемирного наследия. Ежегодно его посещают 12 млн
человек.
Уч.2 Пустыня Атакама – одно из самых сухих мест на Земле –
расположена на севере Чили. В год здесь выпадает всего 1
мм осадков только в виде тумана.
Уч.3 Озеро Байкал находится в центре Евразии.
Максимальная глубина озера 1637 м – по праву позволяет
назвать Байкал самым глубоким озером в мире. Кроме того,
Байкал – самое древнее озеро на нашей планете.

Во многих странах мира много интересных объектов. В 1972
году ЮНЕСКО приняла Конвенцию об охране всемирного
культурного и природного наследия (вступила в силу в 1975
году). Всемирное наследие – объекты, приоритетными
задачами по отношению к которым является сохранение и
популяризация в силу их особой культурной , исторической
или экологической значимости. По состоянию на 3 августа
2010 года в списке Всемирного наследия – 911 объектов.
Лидеры по их количеству: Италия – 45, Испания - 42, Китай –
40, Индия - 28, Великобритания -28, Россия -24,
США – 21.
В России прошел конкурс на выявление 7 чудес России. Эти и
другие объекты хорошо вам известны. Это исторические
памятники и чудеса природы. Проведем небольшой
географический диктант и узнаем победителей.
1. Самое большое озеро в мире (Байкал)
2. Единственный в России природный объект с бьющими из
под земли горячими фонтанами.
3. Величественный монумент, воздвигнутый после ВОВ на
берегу Волги в местах ожесточенных боев.
4. Результат работы ветра. 5. Самая высокая точка в России.
6. Дворец, построенный Петром 1, известен своими
фонтанами.
7. Символ Москвы и России, был построен в честь победы
над Ханством.
Сдайте листочки с диктантами и посмотрите, правильно
ли вы ответили на вопросы и полюбуйтесь красотами
России. Оценки будут объявлены на следующем уроке.

conditional sentences of the second type

Imagine, that you are green grass in the field. Light wind is
shaking the grassfrom one side to the other.
Now you are a tree. Your braches grow up to the sky. The wind is
shaking them from one side to the other.
Imagine that you are a small flower in the field, you are afraid of
the wind. You look to the right, then to the left, up and down.
Suddenly you understand that the wind has gone. So you close
your eyes and drop off to sleep.
T:The problems of the environment are very pressing, they have
become the subject of many scientific meetings. Remember: we
live only once and not a very long life. We have to save the world
for future generations. Today we have an opportunity to take part in the “Ecological
congress” where scientists from different countries gathered to
discuss this very important problem.
Dr. Brown, Oxford University: The state of environment today
is connected with mankind’s efforts to make their life more
comfortable and more satisfying. Technological, social and
economic changes (sometimes called “progress”) can have
dictating effects on the environment. .That’s why government
should pass laws to change policies on agriculture, energy,
transportation and trade. Local authorities should carefully plan
their towns and find right balance between industrial and
residential areas, they should build extensive work of bicycle
paths. In conclusion, I think that government and local authorities
won’t badly damage the environment.
Dr. Smith, New York, The USA: As you know, pollution is
hanging like a brown cloud over New York today. Dirt and smoke
are pouring from cars and factories. Pollution is spoiling the air we
are breathing and it is harming our health. New York smells bad
and look ugly. Pollution is health problem too, because it’s hunting
people’s lungs.
Dr. Fishman, Atlanta University: Another source of global
damage is acid rain. It is relatively new kind of pollution. Acid rain
appeared as reaction of the atmosphere to air pollution. Acid rain
damage water, forest and sail resources. Besides one of the most
urgent ecological problem today is depletion of the ozone layer,
which protects the Earth from dangerous ultraviolet rays of the
sun. many scientists think that the ozone holes are the result of
pollution.
Yong ecologist, Russia: Really, the problem of environment is
much spoken about on TV, radio and newspapers. Besides, there
are special organizations such as “Greenpeace”, ”Friends of the
Earth”, “The world wildlife fund”, which try to help to save the
Earth. We must always remember that every 10 minutes one kind
of animals, plants or insects disappears.
If nothing is done about it, over one million species will disappear
in twenty years from now. Every boy and girl can do something to help nature. So I would
like to read the resolution of our congress:
1. Keep the country tidy.
2. Keep dogs under control.
3. Take litter home.
4. Water flowers and trees.
5. Throw litter away.
6. Grow flowers and trees.
7. Build bird tables.
8. Leave wild flowers to others to enjoy.
9. Recycle metal, paper and glass.

Love nature – it is our home.

live in beautiful and clean environment.
