модуль 2A, тема "Food".
Урок: Module 2A - Food
Цель урока: научить учащихся обсуждать предпочтения в еде, использовать лексику и грамматические конструкции, связанные с темой пищи.
Этап 1: Present (Представление) - 15 минут
Lead-in Activity: Food Showdown
Objective: To get students talking about their favorite food in English while creating a competitive and engaging atmosphere.
Instructions:
Preparation:
Before the lesson, prepare a list of popular foods or dishes from various cuisines. Include items like pizza, sushi, hamburgers, pasta, curry, etc. Make sure you have enough items for each student in the class.
Activity:
a. Divide the class into small groups or pairs, depending on the class size.
b. Announce that you're going to have a "Food Showdown" competition.
c. Explain the rules: Each group will receive a random food item (e.g., a picture or a written name of a dish). They have to discuss and come up with a short presentation to convince the class why their assigned food is the best.
d. Set a time limit (e.g., 5 minutes) for each group to prepare their presentation. During this time, they should discuss the food, its ingredients, what makes it special, and why they like it.
e. Each group takes turns presenting their chosen food item to the class, using English to describe it and express their preferences.
f. After each presentation, allow the class to ask questions or share their opinions.
g. After all the groups have presented, have a class vote to determine the "winner" of the Food Showdown. Each student can cast their vote for the most convincing presentation.
Follow-up:
Once the "winner" is determined, you can reveal that the objective of the lesson is to learn English vocabulary related to food and express personal preferences.
Introduce the vocabulary related to the foods discussed during the activity. You can show images of the dishes, talk about their ingredients, and discuss what makes them special.
This activity not only engages the students in a competitive and interactive way but also naturally leads into the lesson's topic of discussing favorite foods in English.

Encourage them to use adjectives and expressions like "delicious," "tasty," "salty," "sweet," "crispy," "creamy," "spicy," "refreshing," etc.
After the tasting, have a discussion with the class where they can share their thoughts and impressions about the different foods.
