That is why we have today an unusual lesson. It is  even not a lesson it is a discussion…..  What are we going to speak about? Yes, I agree with you. And the topic of our discussion is “The importance of learning English nowadays”.  English is really very important in our modern life. It is an universal and global language. You can hear it everywhere. But today we pay attention on practical using of English. How can you apply it in practical life? English opens the door for a better life. Do you agree with me? 3. Работа в группах.  There are many different reasons for learning English.  First of all we will try to discuss the reasons for learning English language in everyday life. We are going to watch a short silent video.   You   should   think   and   choose   suitable   information   to sound this film.  Let us watch…. On your tables you have got some sheets of paper with phrases that can help you to show the importance of learning English. Try to sound this film. Now you are going to work in groups. Students watch the film and work in groups…. You can use these expressions   I learn English to\ because…….  to travel abroad to have job’s opportunities to communicate with potential clients and customers many great works of literature, science, history and social science to work in a large corporation to become successful in other countries to communicate with people from foreign countries to understand each other better to communicate with native speakers it is great for future careers to know more about global trends, culture and social issues to become better educated to consume thousands more news sources, blogs, books and songs to improve your confidence to expand your brain power to let you be part of a global conversation to earn respect to help yourself unlock all sorts of life’s doors to read books in Russian to write letters in the country to visit elite restaurants to do sport to visit relatives to go to a concerts of famous Russian composers  to be talented in cooking to get international education Now let’s sound the film…..
