Жанибекова. А Қызылорда облысы, Жаңақорған ауданы The theme:  «Food and drink» The aim: 1. Educational: to give some information about                                food and drink.                 2. Developing: to develop the pupils’ thinking                                 understanding, listening and speaking.                 3. Upbringing: to bring up love and interest for the                             subject.   Visual aids of the lesson:  Interactive board, book, pictures. Connection of the subject:  Kazakh. I. Organization moment. ­ Good morning, children. ­ Good morning teacher. ­ Who is on duty today? ­ Who is absent? ­ What date is it today? ­ What day is it today? ­ What month is it now? ­ ­ Thank  you very much. II. Checking homework. ­ What was your homework   for today?  ­ Answer the question? ­ Ok, Let’s begin are you ready? Is the weather warm or cold? 1. Where were you last Sunday? 2. Did you clean your room yesterday? 3. Which country would you like to visit? And Why? 4. Can you play chess? 5. What can you do? That’s all it’s enough. III. Warm up. Let’s recollect this tongue twister. First I’ll read, listen to me  careful. Who wants to read? IV. Presentation of new step. Today we’ll speak about countable and uncountable nouns.  Countable nouns are things that we can count. For example: 3 plates, 2 boys. Uncountable nouns are things that we can’t count. V. New words. Pupils, look at the blackboard. These are todays new words. At  first I’ll read, then you’ll repeat after me. Open your vocabulary and write down. VI. Working with exercises . Ex. 2.  Study the words. Pupils of the group «Food»  you have  to read countable words, and group « drink »  uncountable  words. Ex. 3. Complete the chart using the words in exercises 2.    Open your copy books and write down.   Ex.4. Look at the lists of food and drink. Talk to your partner  you like and don’t  like. Example: I like tea, but I don’t like coffee. VII. Work with text. Ex.5. «Kazakh traditional food» in Kazakh. In Kazakh –  Қазақтың ұлттық тағамдары. First I’ll read, listen to me  careful. VIII.Look at the pictures and find the sentences from the  text. Physical training. IX. False or true. X. I brought some vegetables, fruits and foods but there aren’t  artificial – they are natural. And you have to find  which  concern to the vegetables, foods and fruits. XI. Conclusion.          Answer the questions. 1) What’s your popular food in your family? 2) What’s your favourite food? 3) What’s your favourite drink?   Giving homework. XII.
