Reading the text.  T. asks some Ss to read an article intelligibly. Pay attention to the  highlighted words. Task 1.  Read the highlighted words. Find the definitions of the  phrasal verbs with the help of “Word jumble race” strategy Each group is given cards with written jumbled phrasal verbs and  definitions. Groups must find the definitions of the phrasal verbs. As  a help they should look at the phrasal verbs in context in the article to determine their meaning. Then they stick their definitions to the  board.  Cards with the names  of  countries  and the  languages Slide Eyes Open Ex 4, p 23 Cards
