This buildings has one or two storeys, a garage, a garden and a fence around the house. It has many rooms: a living room, a sitting room, bedrooms, a kitchen, a playroom for children. It is for one family.

A semi-detached house

This building has one or two floors, the garage and the garden. It has many rooms upstairs and downstairs. There are two houses in one, it is for two families

A terraced house

This building has the ground floor, the first, the second, the third floor. There is no lift. Each flat has a balcony, two or three rooms. It has central heating system.

Block of flats

This building is big. It’s row houses. There are a lot of flats there. They have bedrooms, kitchens, sitting rooms, bathrooms. The flats are for different family.

A palace

The old building where lived a queen and a king with their servants. They arranged meetings, parties, balls and festivals there. Some palaces are museums now.

A tower

An old building which was erected many years ago. The people need the towers to fight against the enemies and to defend themselves. Today there are museums or galleries in the towers.

A castle

The old building where lived people many years ago. The host of the castle was a knight or a lord. He had a lot of servants, many domestic animals, fields and gardens.
