Урок в 6 классе на тему “Faces of London”

Конспект обобщающего урока по английскому языку на тему “Faces of London”для 6 класса (учебник М.З. Биболетовой и др. “Enjoy English”) с использованием ИКТ Тип урока: учебное занятие по комплексному применению знаний и способов деятельности. Цель урока: закрепить полученные умения и навыки по теме "Достопримечательности Лондона" Образовательные задачи:     расширение кругозора учащихся,  учить понимать английскую речь обобщить знания по теме «Лондон» Развивающие задачи:     развитие и тренировка памяти;  развитие способности к анализу, сравнению;  способности логически излагать учебный материал. Воспитательные задачи:   развитие положительной мотивации к дальнейшему изучению английского языка;  воспитание уважения к культуре другой страны. Практические задачи: развитие умения аудирования (определение основной темы); развитие умения говорения;    формирование навыков взаимоконтроля, самоконтроля Методы обучения: частично­поисковый, иллюстративный ФОПД: фронтальная, индивидуальная. Средства обучения: раздаточный материал – рабочие листы учеников, презентация о Лондоне Оборудование: компьютер, ИКТ доска, мультимедийный проектор   Ход урока 1.Организационный момент Good morning, boys and girls! I am glad to see you. How are you? There are some guests at our lesson, let’s greet them. (PP: Good afternoon)Today we will travel around  the   city. It is the capital of the country, the head of this country is the queen Elizabeth2.  Do you remember this city? (PP: Yes, it is London.) (слайд 1  ) Of  course, it is  London,  the capital of  Great Britain.  Do you remember  what  we learnt about London? Can you say some words about these sights?  (PP: The tower is very old. It was a palace, a prison, and now it is a museum.  Дети  говорят 3­4  предложения по картинке) 4.Контроль аудирования  (слайд 9) Let’s check your knowledge. Вы услышите 3 описания достопримечательностей Лондона. Установите соответствие между  описаниями и картинками, данными в списке A­D. Используйте каждую картинку только один раз. В  задании есть лишняя картинка. Вы услышите описания дважды. Занесите свои ответы в таблицу в листе  ответов. It is one of the sights of  London. It is the famous waxworks  museum, which has one of the largest  collections  of wax models in the world. You can see here actors, film stars, pop­singers, sportsmen,  famous politicians. It was a fortress, a palace, a prison. Now it is a museum. You can see black ravens there. People keep  them and look after them very well believe that London will be rich while ravens live there. It is the name of the clock and the bell. You can hear its sound every hour in London. 2. 3. Now  exchange your sheets of paper with neighbours and check the sheet, compare  the  result. Put  the marks. (cлайд 10) 5.We continue our trip. Look at the pictures of London’s parks and say what they are. What are they famous  for? (слайд 11) (PP: Hyde Park, St. James’s Park, Regent’s Park, Kensington Gardens)  (PP: They are famous for trees, flowers. Regent’s Park is famous for London Zoo. Hyde Park is famous for   Speaker’s Corner….) 6. Now we will go to  Madame Tussaud’s Museum. What is it famous for? (PP: It is famous for wax figures of famous people).Look! They are very different. Can you tell me  what  they are? (слайд   12 )  (PP: Charlie Chaplin is a world famous actor.  Joseph Turner is the master of sea pictures. Charles Darwin is a well­known scientist. Agatha Christie…Mark Twain…Daniel Defo… 7. Our tip of London is going to end. Now we must sum up and do the test.
