Act 1
Ole Lukoie: Good day, dear friends! I am very glad to meet you in our school!
My name is Ole Lukoie. I know so many stories on earth certainly no one can tell
them! When night comes on and children still sit in good order around the table, or
on their little stools, I arrive. I very love children and only want them to be quiet so
that I can tell them stories when they go to bed. I sit down on the bed beside them.
Under each arm I carry an umbrella. One has pictures on it, and that one I open up
over good children. Then they dream the most beautiful stories all night long. The
other is just a plain umbrella with nothing on it at all, and that one I open over
naughty children. Then they sleep restlessly, and when they wake up in the morning
they have had no dreams at all. Now you will hear stories about adventures of a little
girl and her brother. Act 2
