1. Introduction.
Russian language has always been open to borrowing. Since the epoch of
Peter I, he focused on Western culture, which caused penetration in his
numerous loan words from foreign languages. From time to time, some
people tried to «clear» the Russian language from inelegance influence.
However, these attempts have not yielded any significant results. So the
Russian language belongs to languages in which the borrowings are present in
large numbers.
For a start, we give the definition of the word «anglicism», which was given
in the dictionary Sierakow: anglicism is a word or speech in a language
borrowed from the English language or is modelled on English word or
expression.
Strengthening information flows, the emergence of a global computer
network the Internet all this has led to the emergence of new loan words. On the one hand, the process of borrowing vocabulary of native speakers of
Russian, and on the other lost its uniqueness and inimitable beauty. Many
philologists and linguists note that the intensity of borrowing alien vocabulary
has reached alarming rate. In everyday speech, my classmates are increasingly
heard borrowing from English slang. Young people tend to Express their
thoughts and feelings by means of a foreign language.
What is the role of English borrowings in modern Russian language,
specifically in everyday speech and slang Russianspeaking youth; whether
«anglicization» natural language process or the process due to other reasons?
Data controversial issues which interested me, and I decided to spend my
little exploration. These questions have determined the relevance of the theme
of English borrowings in Russian youth slang and became the subject of my
research work.
The object of the study was lexical units and their derivatives.
Objective: to study the penetration of English words in the speech of modern
school children.

For solution of tasks under the guidance of the teachers were conducted
analyses and surveys.
Hypothesis: the modern youth is widely uses the borrowed words in his speech.
Expected result: the English words firmly established in the communication
Theoretical part
Aby education anglicisms.
We can distinguish the following groups of foreign borrowing:
Direct borrowing. The word appears in Russian language in approximately
the same way and at the same meaning as in the language of the original.
Such words as weekend the weekend, money is money.
Hybrids. These words are formed by joining the foreign root Russian suffix,
prefixes and suffixes. In this case, often somewhat changes the value of
foreign words source, for example: to spicate (to speak, to speak, to Buzet
(busy restless, fidgety).
Calca. Words of foreign origin, which were used to maintain the phonetic and
graphical form. Such words as menu, password, disk, the virus club.
Polyanka. Words that when mastering grammar are subject to the rules of
Russian grammar (added suffixes). For example: drive drive (drive) «have not
been such a drive in «energy».
The exotic words. Words that characterize specific national customs of other
Nations and are used to describe Russian reality. The distinctive feature of
these words is that they do not have Russian synonyms. For example: crisps
(chips), hot dog hotdog), cheeseburger (cheeseburger).
Foreign inclusions. These words usually have lexical equivalents, but
stylistically different from them, and fixed in different spheres of
communication as a means of expression, giving the speech a peculiar
expressiveness. For example: OK (OK), wow (wow).
Composites. The words consisting of two English words, for example: the
second hand store, which sells clothing, second hand; videocar room
movies. Jargon. Words that appeared as a result of distortion any sounds, for example:
cresanti (crazy) crazy.
1.2 Classification of foreign words in the spheres of communication.
1. Power, politics. In recent years in the political vocabulary of the
Russian language is a foreign word. For example, the Chairman of the
Council of Ministers is now Prime Minister, Deputy VicePrime Minister,
the speaker, the President.
2. Mass media. This area is populated by English words very quickly.
Internet "record" on the use of borrowing, particularly in the texts of
advertising, event reports, etc. However, in practice it is exactly the
opposite: it is the Russian media, especially television, the spread of
another language, and sometimes and tongues, in the Russian language
and in Russian (DJ face control, stylist, loser, talk shows).
Art. Those words, which we are so used, it turns out, came to us from
English. Such words as an athlete, football, bodybuilding, fitness, referees,
match, a goal.
1.2 Thehnika. For new technologies coming up with new names, and the
sound of the names in English language. Keywords: computer, laptop,
mobile, scanner, organizer, keyboard, monitor, and many others came to
us from the English language (blender, printer, copymachine, mixer, x PI,
photoshop).
1.2 Cinema, music. This area is a powerful source of popularization of the
English language, through pop culture, most English words entered in the
Russian language without any obstacles. Now a lot of Russian stars sing in
English language, many films are shot in this language, there are some
phrases words (for example, the famous phrase Advertisera I'll be back; the chorus of the song Dima Bilan Neverever let me go), which then
remain in everyday youth slang (soundtrack boyfriend, Comedy club).
1.2 Economy. In this area there are such foreign words, as an investment,
marketing, dealer, broker, default, price list, Manager, boss, boss.
All examples have allowed us to construct the graph of dependence of
English words from different spheres (see Annex 1, figure 1). Government
and politics accounted for 6.7 % of all borrowing; sports, engineering,
music and cinema had about the same number of percents. On the
economy was 20.7% of English words, however, most foreign words
(38%) are used in the media.
Appendix 1
Figure 1. Chart use of English words in various spheres 1. The practical part.
2.1. Investigation of the reasons of the use of English words in the youth
environment.
After observation, we found that our pupils often use foreign words in their
speech. We believe that the majority of borrowings has found its place in the
youth slang, because slang is an important part of the language of teen
culture. As shown by the research, the most productive sources of
replenishment of the vocabulary of young people are such areas as media
(Internet), technology (computer technology), pop culture (cinema, music).
As a rule, borrowing belong to different groups. The use of direct borrowings
(laptop, boyfriend, flash drive, DJ) can be explained by the fact that many
English words in our language cannot be changed, and there is no need. One
of the most used in schoolchildren speech is words that are relevant for
hybrids, tracing paper and foreign inclusions. Many words respect (a calque
from the English. respect), foreign inclusions wow (from the English. wow,
OKAY (from the English. OK), Bai (from the English. bye) so entrenched in
everyday speech that many people take these words for borrowed only in deep
subconscious.
That would have to identify the features, and the most important reasons for
the use by students of foreign words in their everyday speech, we have
compiled a questionnaire (see Annex 2). The study involved 30 students of
MIDDLE Makeevka school, 6th, 7th, 8th grades. The boys were asked to
answer the questions of whether they use in his speech, the English words, if
Yes, how often, and why. Also, the respondents had to define several well
known, often use borrowed words.
After answering all the questions, the students had to give as an example the
10 most frequently used loan words. Our results were included in the General scheme (see Annex 1, Fig. 2), and
then divided into three groups: 6th classes (see Annex 1, Fig. 3), the 7th
classes (see Annex 1, figure 4), 8 classes (see Annex 1, Fig. 5)because the
interests and way of thinking of each of the boys a bit different. However,
when we started to analyze the results of each of the 3 groups individually,
the picture has changed.
Students of 6th classes use English words in his speech, because they help
them clearly, accurately and quickly to Express the importance of the
descriptive turnover (58%)or to flesh out the meaning of a word of Russian
(21%). And none of the students found no loanwords as more scientists (0%).
And only 3% of respondents said that the English words more expressive than
words of the native language. Students of 7th classes use of foreign words in
his speech, because first of all, in their opinion, in Russian there is no such
thing (30%), and secondly, to explain the significance of a descriptive
turnover (24%) or to specify the meaning of the Russian word (26%). Similar
to the situation and the results of the 8th form. Remains the single largest
reason for the need to Express using English words multivalued descriptive
momentum (51%) and the need for the designation of new objects and
phenomena (21%), as well as specify the meaning of the Russian word (14%).

7, 8 classes and their percentage Figure 3. Comparison chart use anglicisms students of 6th grade Figure 4. Comparison chart use anglicisms students of the 8th grade
Figure 5. Comparison chart use anglicisms students of 7th class 2.2. Research of relations of the subjects to the use of English
Another important item of the questionnaire was the question of the attitude
of the subjects, the borrowed words. Here all respondents were unanimous.
42% of subjects using English words, as with their help it is easier and more
accurate to explain anything, 31% said that it is convenient. And only 14% of
the survey participants were opposed to borrowed words, since they,
according to them, infest native language.
At the end of the questionnaire, respondents had to make a list of the 10 most
frequently used their foreign words. In Appendix 2 we presented this list.

3. The conclusions.
1. Modern teenagers often use in their speech loanwords (68%):
grade 6: 62% 7 classes: 67 % 8 classes: 72%. 2. Students 6, 7, 8 classes use the English words, as they are easier for them to
convey the meaning, the meaning of the utterance (44%).
pupils of 6th and 8th grades replace foreignlanguage words complex
descriptive momentum native language: face control, USB flash drive,
modem, card reader.
pupils of 7th grade prefer English words in his speech, because the Russian
language, in their opinion, there are no these words: notebook, organizer,
scanner, a printer.
3. Schoolchildren do not always adequately understand the value of borrowed
words they hear the speech of others, or use for yourself. (72% rightly gave
definitions proposed English words).
4. Most of the interviewed young people (73%) believe are appropriate and
justified to use in his speech of foreign words (they are so easy and
convenient to communicate). And only 14% of students have a negative
attitude to the «blockage» of the native language borrowed words, although
use them in your own speech.
5. The most frequently used English words in the lexicon of modern
adolescents include areas: engineering (computer slang), music, media, sport.
6. The main reasons for the increase in the share of slang in speech modern
teenager and students include:
1) the Need for the name of new subjects, concepts and phenomena
(notebook, organizer, scanner, printer).
2) the Need to Express with the help of anglicisme multivalued descriptive
expressions (termopol thermos and kettle in one, peeling cream, remove the
top layer of skin, a Kvizaradio television game of questions and answers on
different topics with prizes)
3) Replenishment of language more expressive means (image instead of the
way, show view).
4) Perception of foreign words as more prestigious (presentation instead of performance, exclusive instead of the exclusive).
5) the Need to define the meaning of the word (sandwich, hamburger,
fishburger, chickenburger).
4. Conclusion.
The aim of my research, as mentioned above, is to study the degree of
penetration of English slang in speech modern schoolchildren. From the
survey data confirm the fact of the wide use of English words and slang in
Russian language in General, and in the speech to schoolchildren in
particular.
As we see, youth slang in most cases is an English borrowing or phonetic
Association.
The main reasons for the increase in the share of slang in speech modern
teenager and students include:
1) Social factors.
2) The Importance of slang language for communication with peers (the
desire of youth to establish itself as among their peers and in their own eyes).
3) The Effect of Media (reading Newspapers and youth magazines, television)
at the speech of a teenager.
Nikolay A. Zabolotskiy wrote:
The one who is living a real life,
Who poetry from childhood accustomed,
Eternally believe in the giver of life,
Full mind Russian language.
No doubt, the Russian language in General and the question of young people
in particular is under the direct influence of the English language. And we
will not be able to stop this process, until we are not going to create
something unique. 5. The list of the used literature
