Introduction
I would like to introduce to you a British politician - Theresa May.
Theresa Mary May is a British statesman and politician, Prime Minister of Great Britain (from July 2016 to May 2019). Today Theresa May is also the leader of the Conservative Party.
Theresa May's early years and education
Theresa May was born on October 1, 1956 in Eastbourne May's family was strict, patriarchal. Teresa's father and mother were Protestants. As it is known from Teresa's biography, she learned grief early. Her father died in a car accident when Theresa May was a student, and soon the girl lost her mother, who could not survive the loss of her spouse.

Theresa May's work career
Theresa May began her career at the Bank of England (1977-1983). Theresa May's political career
In 1992, May participated in the parliamentary elections in the North West Durham constituency and in the 1994 snap elections in the Barking constituency, but lost. Failure did not stop Theresa May. She continued to participate in subsequent elections and in 1997 was elected for the first time as a member of the House of Commons of the British Parliament from the newly formed constituency of Maidenhead in Berkshire.
Theresa May is the shadow leader
Although all these years (from 1997 to 2002) Theresa May held minor positions in the Conservative shadow government, in 2002 May became the first female chairman of the Conservative Party. Teresa dealt with technical issues of ensuring the functioning of the party apparatus.
