There are hundreds of grammar rules but the basic ones refer to sentence structure and parts of speech, which are noun, pronoun, verb, adjective, adverb, preposition and conjunction. Let’s look at the way sentences are put together and the words that form them.

Unit 106
Word order (2) adverbs with the verb
(a) Мы ставим некоторые наречия (например always,
also, probably) с глаголом в середине предложения:
Tom always goes to work by car.
We were feeling very tired. We were also hungry.
Your car has probably been stolen.
(b) Запомните правила расположения наречия в
середине предложения. (Это только общее правило,
поэтому есть исключения.)
i) Если сказуемое представлено одним словом (goes,
cooked и т.д.), то обычно наречие ставится
перед глаголом:
наречие+глагол
I cleaned the house and also cooked the dinner. (но не `cooked also')
Jack hardly ever watches television and rarely reads newspapers.
She almost fell over as she came down the stairs.
Отметьте, эти наречия (always/often/also и т.д.)
стоят перед have to:
We always have to wait a long time for the bus.Однако, наречия стоят после am/is/are/was/were:
We were feeling very tired. We were also hungry.
Why are you always late? You're never on time.
The traffic isn't usually as bad as it was this morning.
ii) Иногда сказуемое состоит из двух и более слов (can
remember, doesn't smoke, has been stolen и т.д.).
Обычно наречие ставится после первой части глагола:
Глагол
1 наречие глагол
2
I can never remember his name.
Ann doesn't usually smoke.
Are you definitely going to the party tomorrow?
Your car has probably been stolen.
My parent have always lived in London.
Jack can't cook. He can't even boil an egg.
The house was only built a year ago and it's already falling down.
В отрицательных предложениях probably стоит перед
отрицанием. Так, мы говорим:
I probably won't see you. или I will probably not see you.
(но не `I won't probably see you')(c) Мы также ставим all и both в этих же местах:
We all felt ill after the meal.
Jack and Tom have both applied for the job.
We are all going out for a meal this evening.
My parents are both teachers.
