Цели: закрепление навыков подготовки и презентации проекта; развитие навыков монологической речи; введение страноведческой информации по теме «Эмблемы городов России».

Оборудование: картинки и фотографии по темам «Россия», «Америка»,
«Великобритания», «Символы Великобритании».

                                              Ход мероприятия

I.Организационный момент.
Good morning! We’ll spend today’s lesson preparing for a test and comparing
English-speaking countries and our country.

II.Фонетическая зарядка
And now it's time to practice today's vocabulary. You can see two columns of words on the blackboard. Let’s read them. Can you match the words from the first column and the second one to make up the word combinations?

Первая колонка: national, floral ,historic, traditional, largest, multinational, culture, official.

Вторая колонка: cities, colours, country, symbols, elements, names, saint, conflicts.

III.Речевая разминка

IV.Презентация проектов по теме «Родная страна и англоязычные страны»

We have researched three countries this month. Let’s talk about their flags,  symbols, dates and statistics. We’ll listen to three  groups -three projects. Get ready to ask questions to your classmates and share your ideas about Russia, Great Britain and America. Who will be the first to speak today? The photos and pictures on the blackboard will help you to present your country.

В конце урока подводятся итоги проектной работы и обсуждаются вопросы:
What do we need to live happily in the world? How should people cooperate with each other?  What will help you understand our world better?
