Лексико-грамматические игры на уроках английского языка в 6 классе
Цель: развитие лексических и грамматических навыков (Adjectives. Degrees
of comparison).
Задачи:
- развивать навыки говорения, чтения, письма и
аудирования,
-формировать умения работать в группе, развивать
логическое мышление, языковую догадку, память, внимание, воображение,
-воспитывать чувство коллективизма.
Ход

Задание 1. Разгадай кроссворд “Adjectives.
Degrees of comparison” и составь предложения.
Group1: Open the window, please! It is hot today.
Group2: We have already opened the window. It was hotter
yesterday.

Text 1
Near a little house there was a garden. There
were some trees: a big oak-tree, a tall pine, a birch, an apple-tree and a
fir-tree. One summer day the trees began to talk about themselves.
“I am very strong”, said the oak. “I am the
strongest of you. I am very useful. People use me to make tables and chairs.”
“I am the tallest of you”, said the pine-tree.
“And people use me to make masts for ships.”
“But I am prettier than you”, said the birch. “I
am the prettiest of all the trees. My dress is white. I have got a green hat. I
am very useful too. People use me for firewood.”
"You are very pretty, but you have no
apples,” said the apple-tree. “In autumn I give people sweet red apples. I am
the most useful and the most beautiful.”
The little fir-tree did not say a word. It was
not strong like the oak. It was not tall like the pine. It was not pretty like
the birch, and it had no sweet apples like the apple-tree. Summer, the hottest
season, was over. Autumn began. All the trees were yellow, red and brown. Then
a strong wind began to blow, and the leaves began to fall. The fir-tree was
still green. One cold day some children came to the garden. “Look at that
pretty fir-tree! Let us decorate it here”. They hang flags, a lot of toys on
the branches. “It is the most beautiful fir-tree in the garden!” said children.
The fir-tree was happy.

One hare was very proud of himself. Most of all
he liked to talk about the way he could run: “ I am the fastest in our forest!”
Of course, the other hares didn’t like him and they didn’t want to listen to
him. One day he saw a tortoise: “Your legs are the shortest. I am glad that I
am not a tortoise!” The tortoise called out to him, “ If you can run so fast,
let’s have a race! Do you see the biggest tree over there? The finish will be
at that tree.” The hare ran off as fast as he could. The tortoise started
slowly after him. The hare ran fast and soon he was not far from the tree. He
thought “ I’ll wait for the tortoise here and when she comes near, I’ll run to
the finish and be the first.” The day was very hot. The hare soon fell asleep.
When he woke the tortoise was at the finish. The other hares were watching and
laughing at that moment “ Our friend boasted very much, but he couldn’t win a
race against the slowest tortoise!” The cleverest tortoise could teach the hare
a lesson.
Say if it is true or false according to the
fable.
