Ask students what functions does operating system perform. One of them file management. What can been done for optimizing the computer.
Divide students into 3 groups. Ask students prepare presentations about OS utilities: - disk defragmentation - disk cleanup - backup copy
Students present their work. Other students should make the notes about topic.
If there is remaining time: Students prepare task on their topic and exchange. Task for advanced students: Ask to compare how utilities implemented in different operating systems.
