“THE ARCHITECTURAL WALK IN THE NEW-YORK CITY – AUGUST, 2019” The album of subjective examples by Dr. Konstantin I.Samoilov. – Almaty, 2020. – 132 p.
The urban environment of New York is a very interesting architectural phenomenon. A large number of unique buildings of American and foreign architects are compositionally virtually unrelated to surrounding buildings. It forms interesting harmonious and disharmonious views of the city. But the urban environment has features of unity in diversity. This is of great methodological interest for the training of architects. To illustrate this interesting phenomenon allocated 413 (296 by Author + 117 from various sources) portraits and typical examples of environment. The photos were taken during August 1-7, 2019. Images sources are indicated directly near with illustrations on each page. Architects and companies listed on the basis of aggregate data from different sources (for some objects from various sources indicate different authors). About some buildings listed authors in the available sources has not yet been found. This album is a continuation of a previously released album: “NEW YORK, August of 2018: the Architectural walk around the city and the surroundings” / Album of subjective examples by Dr. Konstantin I.Samoilov. – Almaty, 2018. – 156 p.
